Charlotte initially trained as a musician and worked as a performer and teacher for several years before embarking on a career in the Royal Air Force. During this time, she became particularly passionate about the mental wellbeing of service personnel and took on additional welfare roles so that she could support those that were struggling. Whilst serving in the RAF, Charlotte encountered her own struggles and was diagnosed with PTSD which eventually led to her medical discharge. As a mother of 2 young children, this significantly impacted her and her family but Charlotte was determined to get herself back on track and pursue her passion of supporting others.
During her healing journey, Charlotte found a range of helpful tools and techniques that were key to working through her trauma and she wished that someone would combine these into one approach so that they could be accessed through one practitioner. Then purely by chance, she stumbled across the Therapeutic Coaching™ practitioner training which incorporated all of the tools that had helped her and she knew instinctively that this was the path she was meant to be on. She enrolled immediately and has never looked back.
Although going through her own difficulties was hard, it steered Charlotte in a positive direction and she now has a rewarding career as a Therapeutic Coach which is truly aligned with her values. Charlotte is excited to be a member of the OHC team, supporting clients on their journeys towards living a happy, healthy and fulfilling life.
