Saffron (crocus sativus) is thought to be rich in carotenoids and has been suggested in research to have a positive regulating effect on the immune system. Saffron is thought to reduce the negative impact of inflammatory cytokines (TNF-a and NF-kB). Turmeric Latte

Turmeric contains curcumin which has been found in many studies now to inhibit pro-inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-a. The absorption of turmeric is enhanced with the addition of piperine (from black pepper) and most effectively transported in a fat (such as olive oil or coconut oil).
